The Department of Communication is dedicated to fostering community and engagement between students in the major and minor. Student groups provide opportunities for personal and professional growth beyond the classroom.
- Communication Leaders - Outstanding undergraduate students who are selected to act as ambassadors for the department. Communication Leaders work closely with faculty on initiatives designed to help the department continue to offer a high-quality education to its students.
- Communication Association -The Communication Association is a Registered Student Organization that strives to help students interested in communication explore potential careers, network, and gain hands-on experience while
building professional skills and getting to know fellow communication students. - Graduate Student Association - This group serves to maintain institutional memory and community across graduate student cohorts. The GSA facilitates professional development seminars, social activities, and serves as hosts for incoming and prospective graduate students.
